Why It’s Always Worth It to Get in the Frame (Yes, Even if You Don’t Feel Camera Ready)

I hear it all the time ....“I just want photos of the kids,” or “Can we just do the family photos without me?”
And I get it. Truly.
You're tired. Maybe you haven’t had time to do your hair, maybe your body feels different after babies, maybe you’re just not feeling photo ready.

But let me gently say this:
Get in the frame anyway.

These photos aren’t about looking perfect.
They’re about presence.
About your kids being able to look back one day and see how loved they were, by the way you laughed with them, held them close, looked at them like they were your whole world. Because they are.

The truth is, your children won’t care if your makeup was done or if you wore the “right” outfit.
They’ll just be glad you were there, in the sand, on the blanket, chasing bubbles, cuddling them close.
They’ll see you as you really were: their safe place, their joy, their mama.

And one day, those images will be priceless.

So come as you are.
I’ll guide you, gently pose you, and give you space to just be with your people.
We’ll focus on connection, movement, the soft little moments that matter — not stiff smiles or perfect hair.

Because your story deserves to be told, and you're a huge part of it.
